Acknowledgements

An acknowledgement confirms that someone has seen a decision. It's not a vote or an approval, just a record that they're aware of it. Use it for decisions people need to know about, such as a policy change.

Asking for acknowledgement

The decision's owner, approvers and admins ask for it under Acknowledgements, from people by name or from a whole group. Everyone asked is notified. You can ask at any time, including after the decision is approved.

Acknowledging

If you were asked, by name or through a group, you'll see Acknowledge on the decision. Choosing it records that you've seen it, with the date. Decisions still waiting for you appear under Awaiting my acknowledgement on your dashboard and as a filter in the decisions list.

Following progress

Each person shows whether they've acknowledged. For a group, you see how many of its members have acknowledged and who they are; it turns green when everyone has.
